Depositing Funds into a Pool
In order to deposit funds into a pool, first select a pool from Atlendis' "Lending Pools" page and click "Visit Pool." Remember that an "Open" status means that the pool is waiting for liquidity to start a borrowing cycle, but even if the pool is in a "Borrowed" status, more liquidity can be borrowed within the same cycle via the "Further Borrow" feature.
Once you have arrived at the individual pool page, you should find the "Deposit" tab to be active. Inside this tab you will see an input action block, as well as an order book that includes a visual graph of funds deposited into and borrowed from the pool. Below, you will find information about the borrower under "About Borrower," and the "Pool History." On top right corner, you will find the "Pool Details" tab if you would like to see more general data about the pool itself. *Please note that some pools will require a KYC process before granting you access to make a deposit. In that case, simply follow the process. When approved, an "Identity Verified" label will be displayed on the deposit tab and you will be able to proceed with the deposit.
Depositing an asset into this pool is a simple 3-step process:
1. Enter an Amount
Under "Enter Amount," please enter the amount you would like to deposit. There is a minimum amount required that you can see in the input, or in the "Pool details" on top right of the screen. If you would like to deposit the maximum amount of your assets, simply select the "Max" button on the right.
2. Select Your Interest Rate
When depositing funds into a pool, you have to select the interest rate that you would like to be borrowed at. This does not guarantee that your funds will be borrowed, but if they are borrowed, you will earn an APY at this chosen rate. The light blue zone within the order book defines the "Preferred Borrowed Rate" from the borrower, so we advise you to stay within this zone to increase your chances of getting borrowed.
Use the dropdown menu to select your interest rate. When you select a rate, you will see a handy green reference marker appear in the order book that allows you to see where you stand compared to other liquidity providers.
3. Approve & Confirm
When you click "Approve," a request will be made to your wallet provider. For example, a MetaMask window should open, requesting you to approve the transaction.
Once you have approved this transaction it will be executed, which may take some time depending on gas conditions on the network. While it's searching, you can see the status of the transaction displayed on the transaction pop-up.
The last step is to simply click "Deposit," approve the transaction in your wallet provider, and wait for the transaction to be verified by the network. Once the transaction has successfully completed, the order book will be updates in real-time to reflect your deposited funds.
And voilΓ ! You have successfully deposited funds on Atlendis!
Change Rate of a Position
Once you have made your first deposit, if for any reason you would like to change your rate, please select the "Change Rate" tab next to deposit and withdraw. Please keep in mind that you are only allowed to change your rate if your position is not currently borrowed.
1. Select Your Position
Select the position that you would like to change rate for. A pink reference bar will appear in the order book on the right side, showing your current position. 2. Select Your New Rate
Use the dropdown menu to select your new interest rate. When done, you will see a green reference marker appearing in the order book that allows you to compare where you stand compared to your previous rate that was formerly pink. This action will also trigger the metrics below, showing your new expected yield compared to the previous one.
3. Confirm
When you click "Change Rate," a request will be made to your wallet provider. For example, a MetaMask window should open, requesting you to confirm the transaction.
Once you have confirmed this transaction it will be executed, which may take some time depending on gas conditions on the network. While it's searching, you can see the status of the transaction displayed on the transaction pop-up. That's it, you have successfully changed your rate.
Withdraw Your Position
If your position is not under a "Borrowed" status, you are allowed to withdraw it, and reclaim your funds. To do so, please go to your Dashboard, find the position you would like to withdraw, select "Manage" and then "Withdraw."
1. Withdraw Your Position
If you come from the dashboard, your position will be pre-selected, if not, or if you would like to withdraw another position from the same pool, please select the position you would like to withdraw. Click on the "Withdraw" button to fully withdraw your position. By completing this action, your position will be burned and the funds transferred back to your wallet. 2. Confirm
When you click "Withdraw," a request will be sent to your wallet provider. For example, a MetaMask window should open, requesting you to confirm the transaction.
Once you have confirmed this transaction it will be executed, which may take some time depending on gas conditions on the network. While it's searching you can see the status of your transaction on the transaction pop-up that appears. That's it, you have successfully withdrawn your position.
